Unleashing the newest technology for the first time in DISC. Entering the world of financial accounting software, Development Institute for Science and Computer is about to launch a latest and innovated accounting software package.

After months of deliberation of DISC executive officers and staff, DISC come up with a unique name of DARTECH or Development Accounting Resource Technology.

D - evelopment - The word came from the company name Development Institute for Science and Computer

A – ccounting - The software covers all aspects of Accounting such as Account Management, Purchase management, Sales management, and the reporting system.

R – esource - All the assets include in this software are valuable resources

TECH - nology - With the help of latest technology of programming language, DARTECH will be produced to suit business needs.

DARTECH is expected to reduce data entry time by as much as 75 percent, thus minimizing operating costs in terms of man hours as well as giving accountants and package-users scope to create reports more easily.

The CEO & Director of the new software speaks about DARTECH: “This software allows the user to pre-define the most commonly used documents and entries, thus reducing input
time while creating real time data.” “We have conducted extensive user surveys and have found that a major portion of all vouchers, bills, invoices and other accounting documents are repetitive in nature with variable periodicity. Using our software, a pre-defined set can be stored and called on later, using the real time search function of the software." “Not only will this eliminate data entry errors, it will also increase the efficiency of accounting departments,” he added.

DARTECH allows the user to create a document based on pre-defined parameters and has the flexibility of being used to create later records with no additional entries. DARTECH allows the user to call the file and just fill in or change the name and amount leaving the rest, including duty computations and commissions, to be handled by the software.

Stressing the difference between this innovation and the repeating vouchers feature available in other accounting packages in the market, The CEO & Director said: “DARTECH is more flexible - given the fact that the produced reports remains unchanged to the extent desired and may be re-classified within the system through just a click of the mouse.”

Not only does this feature deal with real time accounting entries, it can also be used to create specialized periodic reports based on pre-defined formats. The CEO & Director added: “All over the world, data entry costs are becoming prohibitive. With the new version, not only will finance managers be able to reduce costs drastically but also free the accounts department for more creative and stimulating work.”

DISC team is currently working on developing the user-defined feature which gives the accounting personnel the option of creating the reports they want. DARTECH, an accounting and business solution, will be available in the market in the next few months.
